Lindy Hop Lessons
Thursdays:
Beginning Lindy Hop Monthly Series: Thursdays, 6:00 – 7:00pm at the Mercury Cafe. Lindy Hop is a fun and dynamic Swing dance you may have seen in the movies Malcolm X and Swing Kids. It’s a little more challenging than the Jitterbug class, so we suggest starting out with Jitterbug on Thursdays or Sundays, then moving up to Lindy if you are very new to dancing! $30 per monthly series ($35 for 5 weeks), $10 per individual class
Intermediate Lindy Hop: Thursday, 7:00 – 8:00pm at the Mercury Cafe. We suggest having at least 2 months of Beginning Lindy Hop before moving into Intermediate class. Each month we cover different topics, like Styling, Syncopated Moves, Crazy Turns and Spins or fun Charleston steps. Always new fun and exciting material! Can be taken as a series or drop-in.

Sundays:
Beginning Lindy Hop One Time Drop In: $10 The first Sunday of every month we teach a drop-in Beginning Lindy Hop lesson at 5:30pm. On Sundays, $10 gets you in the door for two lessons and a dance with a live band!
Workshops:
Beginning Lindy Workshop!: Coming Saturday, June 8st, 10:00 - 4pm. $40-45pp early birds, $50 at the door. Singles Welcome. This exciting all-day workshop will take you through the basics and fundamental moves and technique of the Lindy Hop! By the end of the day you'll know how to do the Swingout, Lindy Circle, Charleston, Lindy turns and more! At the Savoy Events Center. See Workshops page for more!
Movin' On Up Lindy Workshop!: Saturday, June 15th, 10:00 - 4pm. $40pp early birds, $50 at the door. Singles Welcome. Add on to your basics of Lindy Hop and refine your skills. Learn the moves and technique you'll need to move on to Intermediate classes, gain and understanding of the music, and learn to add stylings into your steps! At the Savoy Events Center. East Coast Swing (a.k.a. Jitterbug) Lessons
Jitterbug Level 1: Mondays in June at 7:00 – 8:00pm at the Savoy Events Center. $30/month or $10 per one-class at a time.
Learn this fun and easy dance, perfect for beginners wanting to learn! Level 1 in June will take you through the basic footwork, how to lead and follow, and the perfect basic vocabulary to build from!
Jitterbug Level 2: Mondays in July at 7:00 – 8:00pm at the Savoy Events Center. $30/month or $10 per one-class at a time.
Build upon the technique you learned last month, while you learn combos and secrets for dancing with fluidity and rhythm, new vocabulary, flash steps and dips! Our goal is to get you looking like a total pro on the dance floor! Singles and Drop-Ins are always welcome!
Beginning to Advanced Jitterbug Drop-In: $10: Sundays at 6:30 – 7:45 at the Mercury Cafe. Every Sunday we teach a drop-in lesson in which we cover the basic steps and a beginner’s move. Then we’ll teach an Intermediate level move, and finish the class with an Advanced step or a fun Swing trick or dip. Something for all levels of dancers every Sunday! Even if you are completely new to dancing you’ll learn and have a good time!
Other Lessons:
Tricks, Drops and Easy Lifts Mondays in June 6:00 – 7:00pm at the Savoy Events Center. $30/month or $10 per one-class at a time. Learn these fun and easy flash steps of Swing dancing! A great way to get ready for aerials in July! Partner Required!
Beginning Aerials! Mondays in July 6:00 – 7:00pm at the Savoy Events Center. $30/month or $10 per one-class at a time. Learn how to flip, flop and fly in a safe and fun environment! Focus on safety and technique! Partner Required!
The Shim Sham: $10: The Second Sunday of every month at 5:30 – 6:30 at the Mercury Cafe. The Swing Dancer’s Line Dance… see description here! On Sundays your $10 gets you two classes and a dance with live music!
The Tranky Doo: $30 pre-registered, $35 at the door: Learn this fun and awesome Lindy hopper's line dance. More complex and challenging, this dance is the next step up from the Shim Sham. One day workshop on Sunday, April 28th 1-4pm at the Savoy Events Center!
Leading and Following Technique: $10: The Fourth Sunday of every month at 5:30 – 6:30 at the Mercury Cafe. Leading and Following is an art in itself. Learn the fundamental concepts and must-have skills that make partner dancing work! On Sundays your $10 gets you two classes and a dance with live music!
Private Lessons: Our teachers are available for private lessons for $50/hour for students currently enrolled in any class, or $60/hour for students not currently taking classes. Lesson price is good for up to 4 people. Just add $10/person after 4 people for a group private.

Singles are welcome in our classes! You’ll get to dance with everybody! Aerials Classes are an exception.
